This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a premium membership.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a premium membership.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
Comic Book Resources did an interview with Ken Siu-Chong, Joe Vriens and myself a few weeks back. Included are some actual colored pages to view so stop on by and check it out here -
My eraser is a huge part of my process hehe. I'm making mistakes all the time but for the most part if I don't like a sketch I'll just draw right over top of it with a new one.
I get the Eddy Vedder comment from time to time..much more so 10 years ago hehe.
As far as inferior, I'll have to answer that with a giant hells yeah! I probably only like about 10% of the work I do, and even that work I can spot a million problems... I'm also surrounded by a very talented group of friends so they always keep me on my toes. Whenever I think I've done something decent, they will post something new and I'll just shake my head in positive anger and proclaim more improvement needed on the next piece of art.
ah, the never ending learning... but i wouldn't want it any other way
